# Real-time soil moisture dashboard

> Monitor live soil moisture, last-watered times, and 7-day trends for every plant.

The real-time soil moisture dashboard surfaces live readings from each plant in your collection so you can monitor health at a glance. It ships as part of the VerdantBot v1.0 launch (June 15, 2026).

## What's included

Each plant profile in the dashboard displays:

* **Current moisture %** — fresh sensor poll, updated in real time.
* **Last-watered time** — timestamp of the most recent watering event.
* **7-day trend chart** — rolling moisture history per plant.

## Prerequisites

* A registered VerdantBot device paired to your account.
* At least one [installed and activated moisture sensor](/mintlify-demo/v1.1/sensor-installation) bound to a plant.
* At least one plant added via [`POST /plants`](/mintlify-demo/v1.1/api-reference/add-a-plant).
* Mobile app version 1.0 or later (iOS 16+ / Android 12+).

## Get started

    Use [`POST /plants`](/mintlify-demo/v1.1/api-reference/add-a-plant) to register each plant with its species and watering frequency.

  <Step title="Open the dashboard">
    Launch the VerdantBot mobile app and tap **Dashboard**. Each registered plant appears as a card with its live moisture reading.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tap a plant for details">
    Open any plant card to view its 7-day moisture trend and last-watered timestamp.
