# Plant Care API

> A simple API for managing your houseplants.

The Plant Care API lets you manage a collection of houseplants. You can add plants, retrieve your full list, and remove plants you no longer have. For each plant, the API tracks its name, species, and how often it needs watering.

## What's new in v2.0

* **Get a single plant** with `GET /plants/{id}`.
* **Update a watering schedule** with `PATCH /plants/{id}`.
* **Record waterings** with `POST /plants/{id}/water`. Each plant now includes a `lastWateredAt` timestamp.
* **Filter by watering status** with the `needsWater` query parameter on `GET /plants`.
* The base URL is now `http://localhost:3000/v2`.
